Full Line of Powered Mixers Available in Both Tabletop and Cabinet Designs.

Cumberland, R.I. (Jan. 13, 2011) – Alto Professional, the pinnacle of live performance reinforcement, announces the new EMPIRE line of powered mixers.

The EMPIRE powered mixer line offers exceptional power, flexible routing and rugged portability to strengthen your sound. Whether for band rehearsals, nightclub systems or houses-of-worship, the EMPIRE series delivers incredible power, convenience and durability. Up to 2,000 watts of class D power can be attained from the EMPIRE line in either tabletop or cabinet style designs. EMPIRE mixers have ample headroom to accommodate extremely dynamic source material. The amplified sound is as clear as it is strong, giving a true, flat frequency response of warm lows, smooth mids and crystal-clear highs. From this accurate, uncolored starting point, EMPIRE mixers provide musicians and engineers the tools to further shape their sound to suit any environment, thanks to high-quality EQ and digital effects. EMPIRE mixers, as the name implies, are tough and ready for the daily use and abuse of the most demanding musical performances.

The EMPIRE tabletop mixers are available with 8, 12, 16 or 20 channel sizes and each include onboard digital effects. The 8, 12 and 16 channel models provide bi-amped, class D power at 2 x 350 watts, 2 x 500 watts and 2 x 750 watts, respectively. The 20-channel model provides bi-amped, digital power of 2 x 750 watts + 2 x 500 watts.

The EMPIRE cabinet mixers provide eight channels of mixing, EQ and digital effects. Choose between three options of bi-amped digital power at 500 watts, 1000 watts and 1500 watts. Or bust through the sound barrier with EMPIRE’s quad-amped digital power of 4 x 500 watts, 2 x 1000 watts or 2 x 500 watts + 1 x 1000 watts.

“EMPIRE is designed to provide professional powered mixing to all,” said Jonathan McCune, Product Manager, Alto Professional. “No matter your needs, EMPIRE has an option to power your sound.”

EMPIRE powered mixers will be available from music and pro audio retailers in Q1 2011.
